iDVD Help
James over at MacMerc has just posted a super helpful iDVD burning FAQ and as if that’s not enough, he’s also pointed out an Unofficial Ad-Hoc iDVD4 FAQ that Ken Tidwell wrote. These should pretty much cover just about any question you can come up with about getting your burn on DVD style.

Hello. I am creating and burning my reel for work. I have figured out how to create a main page/montage movie, but want to learn how to set up multiple movies and the layout for a more personal page.
Can someone help me?
Oh, I am using quicktimes.

On my first iDVD I'm trying to test a 45 minute movie from FCP. It previews ok but never gets past stage 4 of the burn process. Any suggestions? I've also added marks for chapters that don't seem to show up. I'm using a G5 dual 2 gig with 2 gigs of ram.

I dragged and dropped an Itunes song into an IDVD menu but it played back way too loud. On Itunes it plays back fine. I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Hey everybody, I'm pretty new to vid pro, wondering if you could help me out with something. I burned a project using IDVD and made ten copies, which I ran out of, I've only got one left. I wanna make more copies, but I trashed my IDVD file the project was saved under, and the original IMovie file to free up space on my hard drive, so it's not like I can just export to IDVD again. Any ideas? Is this possible, or do I need special hardware/software. I'm running a stock G4 powerbook. Tried copying the dvd to hard disk, but I can't import the files to IDVD--but I can watch 'em off the hard drive using the Mac's DVD Player ap. Thanks.

I have burnt many DVD's but suddenly after stage 4 of the burning process, the DVD pops out blank and an error appears on the screen stating it had a problem encoding the audio. I have no idea what this means but I know it's not the DVD's im using. My computer is a powerbook G4. A laptop if it helps.
