Apple Tablet?
Just when all the talk of an Apple Table Computer started to quiet down we hear otherwise. The Register is running a story today about a European design trademark by Apple for a tablet computer.
The filing, made in May this year but only published this week, covers a “handheld computer” and contains sketches of what look like an iBook screen minus the body of the computer.

It's a processor and hard-drive. We know the Ipod processor and OS can and handle video. The Ipod has an expansion port. Perhaps 4G Ipod + WiFi Adapter + Firmware Upgrade is the "wirelessly connected" box. Add in the much talked about "home on Ipod" and the whole ensemble start to makes sense.

Tablets are not selling that well and I don't think jobs would released such un-creative product. I believe it will be something like a smart-display (or anything you might want to call): a touch screen wirelessly connected to box (desktop or laptop) and to be a bit different from MS smart-displays it would supports basic processing unit, graphics and storage so one could use separatly from the desktop.

All I know is I'm looking forward to my G5 WiFi 200 gb iPod.....
