I really like the fusion of the cube and mini, at least from a design standpoint. However, I don't believe that Apple would go back to design elements that they've so recently left behind (colored iMacs as well as the cube design). Personally, I'm expecting a 'headed' iMac. With their current display collection starting at $1,299, they've got to remember that iMacs are the fairly-powerful yet fairly-cheap spot on the Apple product list.

That is the first cube mock-up I would think about buying. I could see the iBook and maybe the iMac following the mini in having multiple colors. But the iMac will probably remain an AIO. The eMac, on the other hand, should move to a small tower form factor....

Hard core Cube-owners, would like an upgrade to faster (and STILL quiet/fanless operation). Dual 2.5 G5s will do. WE ARE BUYERS.

The iMac needs to be an all in one...I would be disapointed if this was the reality

Apple should hold a contest to showcase the maby design ideas that crative folks around the world can offer for a new product, be it an iMac, or a next generation iPod. Imagine the possibilties!!!!!!!

Now that looks too good to pass up! Now the question is will the aluminum melt like the old cubes.

I've got a Quicksilver, and I've got a G5, but I still love the Cube and this is an even better look than the original. In fact, I'd be happy if someone just made this case (inexpensively) so I could transfer the guts of my Cube into it!
