Biggest story of the year? Yahoo to launch consumer electronics line?!?!?!
If true I think this is the biggest story of the year,
right up there with the Google IPO! Engadget has a lot more
pictures and details.

Ohhh, a bulky CD player that looks ready to tip over? If it's $19.99, sure - some people will buy it just like people will buy Virgin Electronics (don't they sell wedding dresses and a cola?) because they know it's a temp tattoo name name on the front - humm, Kirkland coffins. People know the real deal and they know when it's just a licensing deal - hey, a Kellogg's printer! Especially like Virgin - it's not about the brand recognition, it's all about the price. Next thing you know, MS will put their name on a computer OS.
