It’s official: Apple and Motorola team up

Motorola Logo

As reader PXLated pointed out, the truth is out there: Apple and Motorola are working on a cellphone together. The result will reportedly be not only a phone that is iTunes capable, but a phone that can be considered an actual accessory to the iPod.

Expect Apple to have a hand in designing the interface and exterior of the unit (rejoice!). Plus, the phone will have fully-enabled Bluetooth, lending credence to the “iPod as controlled via Bluetooth” speculation. Expect the phone to be priced mid-range, between $200-350 USD. Expect the phone to be totally rad. Expect us to follow the story incessantly as details unfold.

Tip of the Day

Use Spotlight as a reference tool. Type any word in the Spotlight box and one of the top entries will be a definition. Click on it, and it will bring up the dictionary application to check the word in either the dictionary, thesaurus, Apple database, or Wikipedia.
