It’s official: Apple and Motorola team up
As reader PXLated pointed out, the truth is out
there: Apple and Motorola are working on a cellphone
together. The result will reportedly be not only a phone that is iTunes capable, but a phone that can be considered
an actual accessory to the iPod.
Expect Apple to have a hand in designing the interface and exterior of the unit (rejoice!). Plus, the phone will have
fully-enabled Bluetooth, lending credence to the “iPod as
controlled via Bluetooth” speculation. Expect the phone to be priced mid-range, between $200-350 USD. Expect the
phone to be totally rad. Expect us to follow the story incessantly as details unfold.

I'd love to have iTunes Mobile (with iPod UI!) for Series 60 phones. I have Nokia 6630 which is perfect: smartphone platform, stereo sound, 1GB memory stick, megapixel camera, UMTS to replace GPRS, etc. I highly doubt that it's features could be matched by Apple/Motorola, but I'd love to have all of my iTMS songs with me wherever I go. iPod is not the answer, I don't always carry it.

Apple Moto phone to be debuted at Macworld, phone will use flash memory to store music...phone syncs with iTunes the same way ipod does! Just a thought...I'm sure all you people out there that were waiting for an ipod flash are going to be disappointed on January 11th

Nobody's talking about PDA functions. Anyone have any insight there? By "PDA functions," I don't just mean the ability to sync Address Book and iCal information. I want to be able to take notes, write email, read ebooks, and play games. Ideally, I'd like to be able to plug in an external keyboard and do some actual writing, too.
