2,000 iPods shuffle right out the door of San Francisco’s Apple Store
Wow, looks like at least a few people are digging on the iPod shuffle… the Apple retail store in San Francisco has
already moved 2,000 of them. In FOUR HOURS.
Yowzah!!
Apparently, folks are buying in bulk. Four, six, nine of the 512MB players at once, with the record going to an
individual who bought a whopping 24 iPod shuffles at once. Jeez, that’s a veritable fleet. I wonder how many
Karl Lagerfeld bought…
UPDATE: So it appears there was a typo in the original Macminute story… ‘twas 2,000 and not 20,000 iPods who’ve found homes in the SF area. 2,000 in four hours is still pretty impressive, though. :)

i was getting a little worried there for a minute... 20,000 sold would have seriously pushed my delivery time back! =)
