Motorola E1060: False alarm!
So no worries, mates - you won’t be stuck with the
E1060 as the “first iTunes phone.” It’s all Reuters’s fault for
jumping the gun and making the
announcement, even though the Motorola release did not mention iTunes. A Motorola spokesperson clears up the confusion:
“E1060 was used to demonstate iTunes client; however, it is not our iTunes product.”
Then again, maybe we’ll have to give Reuters a break on this one and shake a finger at Motorola for using iTunes in
their demo of the phone; didn’t they realize sane persons would assume an iTunes-demo’d phone is, in fact, iTunes
capable? Whatevah…
(Thanks Oliver for the tip!!)
