iNo that you know that iGot no money
If you are old enough to
remember a time when Apple
included a mouse that had an actual button, then you might appreciate this.
Take one old Apple ADB mouse, rip the cord out of it, plug some cheap, crappy headphones into the whole you yanked the
cord from and Viola! A genuinely Apple-branded mock iPod that doesn’t cost you a dime (except for the $2 you paid for
those cheap headphones on the last flight you took). Sure, it’s beige and ugly and doesn’t actually play music, but
it’s kitschy. And who doesn’t love kitsch?
”...it comes with NOparts, which is handy, cause it got NOwarranty also!”

Why don't you hollow it out and stuff a shuffle inside.

I'm stealing CK's schtick by reminding you all that if you don't validate from the confirmation email you get when you post your comments, no one but those of us with a backstage pass will ever see what you had to say.

i'd like to see some people plug in some white earbuds instead, walk around NYC or some other big city where iPod left is on the rise, and then just enjoy watching some thug come along and mug them for an ancient mouse (and a one-buttoned mouse at that, which will be useless to 95% of thieves :-p).

Is anyone thinking:
Take one ADB Mouse.
Take one iPod Shuffle (512 or 1GB doesn't matter).
Gut the Mouse.
Rip shuffle apart and insert into ADB mouse...
Voil?ADB mouse that plays music. Might have to get myself a shuffle now :)

Nemo - I was thinking the same thing, but of course the reason this guy did it was because he doesn't have and can't afford an iPod - shuffle or otherwise. but I can :) And you can... so let's do it :)

You could make the big button rock back and forth for next and previous... there are possiblities. I might actually go try this if I can get the hang of soldering.
