Hello, I'm gonna be flying all the way from Brazil to cover the event for one of the newspapers down here, and hopefully it's gonna be a nice show. It will be my first MacWorld Expo, and I'm really looking forward to it. Cheers, Gui Leite

Sounds cool :) I'm not even sure what to expect at all but I'm sure there'll be plenty of cool stuff to report on I mean, it's a big Mac oriented tech convention trade show type thing, how can you go wrong?

Im from boston as well and ill be attending. i went last year at the new convention center in south boston and it was nothing to write home about. pretty small, not that much excitement. hopefully this years a little better. i didnt have a credit card last year, and this time i do, so it probably will be ALOT better ;)

I'm down for a meetup. I'll post about it when I can for certain that I will be at Macworld (still working on hotel reservations).

A get-together would be cool - since I'm from Boston I might even know a few places to hang out. Definitely plenty of time/space to brag about the Mac and discuss the show and whether it sucks or not (personally I'm also hoping for the latter). Anyone else interested?

Hey! I'm going to MacWorld Boston, too. And it's my first one, as well, and I don't think it's going to suck. Oh, I'm Kristin, by the way, I'm one of the editors for GearLive.com (based in Seattle) and I'm heading out there to cover it live for them. Maybe we should get together for a beer or something and talk about how awesome our Macs are. ;)

Ouch! Doesn't give me much hope for the week of the 11th. I don't doubt the effectiveness of Apple stores at sucking the life out of trade shows, but I'm going to make use of those free passes from Peachpit, darnit.
