I'll be at the Manhattan Beach one in California. Not an area I normally venture off to at 5 in the morning, but what the hell -- I get a free t-shirt, right? Hopefully they're the cool black ones like from the Century City opening.
I'll also take pics and upload them to my .Mac account. If my friends come along with me, then I'll probably be drinking in line - so some of the pictures may come out a little weird.

I will go to the Woodlands opening! How early do people show up for these things. I'm thinking if I get there at 5 am I am guaranteed a free T-Shirt. Or should I sleep in my car in the parking lot?

I would love to go to The Woodlands one since that was my mall growing up... I suppose it's an excuse to go see the sister on her birthday too. "Happy birthday! Let's go stand in line for 10 hours." I wonder if I can appeal to them to give her a shirt as a birthday gift (which I'll steal afterwards).
For all the Texas people driving to The Woodlands, the ARS is in the old Eddie Bauer store sandwiched between The Gap and Godiva, which is practically right smack in the middle of the mall.

I'm going to the Woodlands one! I emailed the guy, he said the mall opens at 7 AM, so I'm going to be in the parking lot by 6:45.
I'll be sure to take pics and send them in to TUAW. :)

So nice to see four readers willing to shoot some pix for team TUAW! Good luck to all of you, and may you be bestowed with commemorative T-shirts. Just don't put them on Ebay, ok?
Looking forward to your reports and shots.

Put it on eBay? Oh, definitely not. I'm currently working on collecting enough Apple shirts that I can wear one each day to work. I have four at the moment. :P

OK - The Woodlands store is a realy good thing for folks living in Houston (the forth (4) largest city in America abbeit it's full of wingnuts) - now we have two (2) stories - WOW
I mean New York, LA, even San Francisco has more stores than one can count!
Is it asking to much for one more store?
I do understand why Apple would want a story in the Woodlands - but what about the northwest side of town or even the west side - something just a little closer - say 290 at Highway 6 or even Katty - buth offer major malls and are located in high end and growing markets
Not so long ago I lived in the San francisco Bay area - we had so many stories that I lost count of the number of stories.
Please just one more so I don't have to pack a bag just to go to the Apple store NOT so near to me!

Fireguy, no joke! an apple store at 290 at Hwy 6 would be amazing. (probably because I live five seconds from the intersection)
