Subway maps on your iPod photo
People are very clever, and iPod Subway Maps is yet another example of this cleverness. At the moment maps are available for NYC, Boston, and Hong Kong, with the promise of more coming soon.To think that at one point the iPod was just a music player.

it's not like there were no other devices that could play music with a color screen before the color iPod --- big deal.. what's the point of releasing something if its too expensive or causes major hits to battery life? Apple has a line of iPods, which is nice, since it's helped them to a near 80% marketshare.. hence, then name of said Website.

As someone who grew up in this fair city, I find it odd. I remembered friends and others beat up for their Sony Walkmans back in the day. $200-$500 device? Yeow! But then again I also see people whipping out thier PlayStation Portables out as well. I guess this would appeal to this crowd, but I don't even understand the practical aspect. Yes, it's 'cool'. But subway maps are quite plentiful in NYC and free at every booth. Whip out my iPod photo? Or a piece of paper? I'm going for the piece of paper.
