Saft updated to version 8.1.1
I was bumming last night when I discovered that the latest Apple Security Update, which included a Safari micro-rev, broke Saft. Imagine my joy this morning when I awoke to Saft v8.1.1. The latest version adds support for Safari 2.0 (412.2.2), improves ad blocking features, fixes a bug or two, and adds a warning before you close a window with multiple tabs open.If you don't already own Saft, you really need to download it right away and at least try it. Don't you trust us?

Heh! I love the way "bumming" means "feeling depressed" in American, and means something rather ruder in English. In the context of your opening sentence, it certainly conjours an eccentric image - don't you *ever* step away from the Mac?

Of course, the new version was sitting there waiting for me. I missed Saft even while just getting the new version. Safari asked me if I would like to open the disk image (which I turned off with Saft) and the downloads window did not disappear automatically (which I have it configured to do with Saft.) What will I ever do if I have to live without Saft for a few days?!
