iTunes 5 looks like SoundJam
So, as I am reading all your comments on my Hot or Not post, I realized that there's something very familiar about the new iTunes 5 interface: it looks like the old SoundJam that you can see here. (Thanks to Scott for the link!)Is it just me, or did Apple just go retro?

Whats sad is that I still think SoundJam MP is still the most functional MP3 App ever created, behind Audion. iTunes is childs play compared to either. Sadly, both are now gone. Oh well.

Dare I say it looked better? Seems like there were option for choosing the color of the backlighting in the "display" area. It could be blue or green or clear. Now that I think about it, I miss Audion's downloadable skins a lot. .

September 07 2005 at 8:21 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyAnyone else notice that WMA is now what is chosen for you in itunes as your "import using"... Perhaps as sign of things to come. I might be wrong but i think WMA importing wasnt even an option in the other version(s).
