New INXS song to be iTunes exclusive

J.D. Fortune's Pretty Vegas, which was one of the 3 songs recorded by the 3 finalists with INXS, is already getting huge airplay on rock radio stations in J.D's home here in Nova Scotia. It is a studio version not a live version. It debuted on radio Sept 28th I believe, the next day after the show finished. Sounds great. No doubt there will be another show next year as the show is called Rockstar (followed by a colon)and a group's name. It could be any group name following that title.

Dave: Yes fair enough, you didn't give away the name of the winner. But see the little picture in the post? See where it says Pretty Vegas under the logo? That alone told me who'd won. But thanks for the apologies anyways. :)

Michael: You took the words out of my mouth. I've been wanting Rockstar: Van Halen since I first heard of the show. If you said to someone, "Name a rock band with lead singer problems," I bet 9 out of 10 would say Van Halen. ---WARNING--- I'M ABOUT TO DISCUSS THE FINALE. If you don't want to know, STOP READING NOW. You have been warned. The strange thing is, on the last show, Brooke said Brooke said something like, "Log on for your chance to be on this stage next year?" Next year? There's going to be another season or Rockstar? You're right, Van Halen is picture perfect for this show. As long as they can keep Ed off the sauce during taping ;)

In my defense, I didn't reveal the winner in the body of my post. I simply said, "they've finally selected their new lead singer." But I do guess I should have put a warning in parenthesis next to the hyperlink. I apologize.

I think it was a fair assumption seeing how each night they played up voting in the Phillipines, Australia, Canada and so forth. There was that presumption that it was aired simultaneously everywhere.

Thanks for nothing!!! I too was trying to stay spoiler free - but now know the outcome. I'm with Sasha - there's MORE to the world than the United States you know! AND - it's NOT like viewers of RockStar INXS didn't know that! That's seriously beyond annnoying!

Thanks for spoiling the finale for me. Did it not occur to you that there might be people in other countries watching this show who haven't seen the finale yet?? This show is being aired in more than just the US. Here in the UK, the finale isn't being aired until Sunday. I was trying to stay spoiler-free until then, staying away from all music-related blogs on purpose, but I was not expecting to be spoiled by my favorite Apple blog. :( You could at least have added a spoiler warning to the article or the subject so people like me would know not to read on.

Is this the live version(s) which were widely dispersed on P2P networks or is it a new studio version?
