Find the "Powered by Blogsmith" button and go up just a little bit. To make things easier though, I think virtually every blog under the Weblogs Inc umbrella has its tips form at /tips. So engadget.com/tips, tuaw.com/tips, design.weblogsinc.com/tips, etc. Hope this helps!

I think this sort of thing happens anywhere but the U.S., if you ask me. If your statement is true, then why doesn't Apple do this sort of thing in the U.S.?

some (many?) mobile phones in japan have the ability to scan QR codes with their camera, which would usually contain an URL to a website to download something (i.e. ringtones, wallpapers, etc). Pretty slick technology.

#2 James is right. You take a picture of the black square with your mobile phone and then it reads it like a link. (or something like that)
