Apple share prices surge to record high
Apple stock prices jumped yesterday to a 52 week high of $59.95 per share, Reuters reported today. This surge is believed to be due to the announcement of the one million videos sold on the iTMS in its first twenty days and to the 37 million iPods forcasted to be sold for 2005. The holiday buying season being in full swing will help to push those numbers even further. If you had any doubts about Apple's strength this year, you know something we don't.Share

November 03 2005 at 2:39 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI think that "37 million" is for ipods sold by the end of 2005, including all the others sold in prior years (Apple has sold about 27 million by last quarter). The forecast is about 10 million ipods sold this quarter.
