LensTweaker

lenstweakerTweakerSoft today announced LensTweaker, a $29.95 tool for OS X that is geared to helping remove lens distortion from your pictures. The program even features a camera calibration assistant to help you tweak the software to your particular camera. Of course, if you're a pro, you most likely have a camera that won't need much tweaking, and the tweaking that is needed you most likely know how to do yourself in Photoshop, but if you've been looking for just such a specialized tool, check LensTweaker out.

for DSLR cameras, even with pro lens, you can still correct a lot of things (aberration, vigneting...). Just try yourself the demo of www.dxo.com ...

I do not agree with C.K.: Every camera lens does produce some distortion in particular every zoom lens (pro or not) produce distortion. Please have a look here. LensTweaker it is great piece of software: really simplify the distortion removal.

Hi, I partly agree on "Of course, if you're a pro, you most likely have a camera that won't need much tweaking"...lens distorsion can only be corrected on folding cameras, but the use of this particular models is extremely rare, at least here in Europe. 24x36, 4x6 or 6x6 formats cameras always create distortion with wide angle lenses. regards
