The Tao of Jobs, now in convenient screensaver form
if you're like me, you often look to your idle Mac for inspiration throughout the day and what could be more inspiring than this truism from Steve's recent Stanford Commencement Speech:

Then there's the one where he suggests that Bill Gates would be a "broader" guy if he'd dropped a little acid back in the day, but I'll let you discover the other gems on your own. The screensaver is free, but it requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later

It not only requires 10.4 - it requires Quartz. Since I'm running a Cube with it's original graphics card - no Quartz.

At the developer's request, I reviewed this and posted it on FreeMacWare.com yesterday. The response has been good. He also let me know that the screensaver works with an RSS feed so he can continue to add new lines.

I think the reflection is nice, but it seemed a little harsh. I edited the file in Quartz composer to add a gaussian blur to the reflected text, which is a quick fix, but more pleasing my eye. YMMV.
It has the acid quote. Start upgrading #2.

I downloaded this yesterday and I love it! I do wish however that there was a way to click the right arrow and go through them. That would help when I show them to people and look through them all!!!
