What would you do for a $0.99 iPod nano?
How about spend two days living in a tent in a parking lot? Jeremiah Williams of Orangevale, California did just that, and he (along with eight other lucky souls) received an iPod nano for less than a buck at the grand opening of an electronics store.I don't know if I'd camp out (I'm not really the camping type. Go figure), but the holiday shopping season is upon us and being able to snag one of this year's most popular gifts for next to free is a pretty appealing prospect. I'd probably spend a day standing in line. How about you?

Camping out in a California (where it's usually warm most of the time) parking lot for two days for a Nano....hmmmmm? Pack the trail mix and the Glock 9, dude, I'm there! Even if it's raining, it can't compare to what I did in the scouts.

Was this for a 2gb and 4gb?
Regardless, I'd camp out for a nano.

Hmm, I might disable pithhelmet and endure the popcorn mortgage ads on TUAW for a day...that's it though, no longer! ":^)

California is a pretty big state. I think your classification of "where it's usually warm most of the time" is a little too general. :)
Granted, according to weather.com, it was decently warm in Orangevale this week.

That's funny. I'm guessing he's a kid as most of us make more then enough money in two days at a job.

Sounds like they need to have a Apple version of Survivor lol :) Imagine the tasks they could come up with .. hate to imagine what you would have to do for one of those bad-ass Dual G5's!
