Futurama's 1984 ad parody on macTV

futuramaAllright, I'll admit it: I'm a huge Futurama fan. The show that I once thought was The Simpsons' heir apparent is still filling up my TiVo with repeats. On my iMac, I've got Futurama Konfabulator widgets as well as some great icons from The Iconfactory (both volume one and two). In addition to being funny, the show was also very Mac-friendly. You may remember the "iZac" bartender, or Bender navigating a very Mac-like system menu while "in" the internet, among others. My favorite Futurama Mac reference was, of course, the parody of the infamous 1984 Macintosh ad; macTV has made it available for download, and geeks like me are rejoicing. Check it out.

Tip of the Day

Holding the Command key (aka the Apple key) and pressing Tab will cycle through your open applications. It's easier to Cmd-Tab if you are Copy (Cmd-C) and Pasting (Cmd-V) to and from various applications.
