MacMod: SE3000
Here's a guy that took the plastic shell of Mac SE 30 and stuffed a 3.0Ghz PC inside. It's got four USB 2.0 ports, three firewire ports, a serial port, and a parallel port. It can even drive an Apple Cinema Display. That's a pretty nice gaming machine all inside a tiny little case. I have to say I'm impressed, despite the fact that it's running Windows. There are more pictures at his site, along with some notes on his assembly method.

I've got an old Mac Plus, and it would be really cool to stick a Mac mini inside of it if I could set it up to run out to an external monitor as well as one inside the case.

Put a LCD or other CRT monitor in the case and then you have a mod. using it as a case makes it no different than putting it in a suitcase or whatever. Because he tore up an old mac doesn't make it newsworthy it just makes it sad. -F
