Free children's audio books for your iPod

storynoryBear with me as I slip in to parent mode for a moment here. Storynory is offering free children's audio books for your (or their, as the case may be) iPod. Current selections include The Three Little Pigs, Little Red Riding Hood, The Snow Queen and more. They're cute, and reader Natasha Lee-Lewis' voice is pleasant enough that you won't be jumping out of the window when you listen for the hundredth time. Of course, I'd prefer to read to the kids myself, but this could be a very nice alternative to those Raffi tapes while you're in the car.

While you're at it, don't forget to grab a few of Santa's podcasts as well. It is the travel season holiday season, after all.

Ok, end parent mode.

Tip of the Day

Use Spotlight as a reference tool. Type any word in the Spotlight box and one of the top entries will be a definition. Click on it, and it will bring up the dictionary application to check the word in either the dictionary, thesaurus, Apple database, or Wikipedia.
