Oprah chooses iPod 5G for her Favorite Things
Oprah has added the iPod 5G to her list of Favorite Things for this holiday season. This doesn't come as a huge surprise since various iPods have been featured on previous Oprah Favorite Things lists.I agree with Ms. O that the iPod 5G is a great gift item, but if you're going to spend 300 bucks on a holiday gift, why not personalize the gift by purchasing or transfering music to the iPod? You can choose albums or make a mix-tape of music for that special person.
I listen to Radio Wazee and then purchase tunes I like from the iTMS by choosing the "find on iTunes" link under the current song. To make a personalized choice I choose a theme (like California or Rain or Silly Sounding Phrases) and find as many new songs with the theme in the lyrics or title.
Take this present to the best-gift-under-the-tree level by choosing (or making) a case that fits with the giftee's personality! Move over Oprah, TUAW's one-upped your gift idea.

Funny ... I read the Google news alert for your post and the summarized synopsis read "Oprah chooses radio.wazee for her list of favorite things"... Almost fell outta my chair! Then again, my mom would sure be proud! Cheers -> Howard (founder) radio.wazee

The only problem is that some of the songs I like aren't in the iTMS. Still, it's great to listen to if you're sick of Nickelback, Nickelback and ... more Nickelback (as they like to remind you).

Great station with some great free download songs of up and coming artists. Good to hear that someone else likes that free internet station as well.
