Record audio and video from iChat AV with Conference Recorder
Since I picked up an iSight I've been looking for a way to record audio and video out of iChat, and I think I've finally found the right tool: Conference Recorder is a handy little customizable iChat AV add-on (with a somewhat clunky and definitely non-Aqua UI) that lets you easily record audio and video conferences to QuickTime movies. You have control over the quality of audio, video, frame rate and dimensions. You can even set Conference Recorder to automatically record all audio and video sessions, save them to a default directory, and toggle a red recording indicator on videos to let other parties know the session is being recorded - or not.A demo is available, though I can't figure out how long it runs. However, at a mere $14.95, this seems to be quite the handy app for the price you pay.

I used it only once, it belongs to a friend. It was nice but it seems that that size of the file created was a way to big. http://bettervoip.blogspot.com/

It's well worth the price. You can set it to record automatically whenever you initiate a video chat. It stores the files as .mov in your Movies Folder. The files it makes are now completely compatible with QT 7, and can be used for iDVD. The new README file has a table that shows how big files will be per minute based on your quality selections. The highest quality/size settings will result in about 12 megabytes per minute.
