I Love My Mac - The Song
Gather round the campfire, little-uns! It's sing-along time!Daphne Kalfon has created a love song for her Mac called of course, I Love My Mac. She used Garageband to compose and record the song.
This is nice song, but my favorite Mac-related song remains FunkyMac, a compilation of System 7 sounds arranged into a spiffy little ditty. I once even had FunkyMac playing as my answering machine message. Sometimes I really miss my PowerMac 7100.

I think we've been shown up by Windows users on this front. Check out this song, based on the windows start up sound: http://blogfiles.wfmu.org/BK/05/1116/welcome.mp3 . Anyone want to right a song based on the Mac startup sound? Apparently it's just a C Major chord (http://www.tuaw.com/2005/05/26/history-behind-the-mac-startup-sound/).

I love "I Love my Mac." It's definitely one of the best fan songs. But I gotta give my props to Jeff Ulcny. Any song that incorporates Ellen Feiss is uber cool in my book! =)

Is it just me or could Daphne's little ditty be mistaken for a long lost Weird Al Yankovic track?

Michael: This was mentioned in the Music Thing post referenced in the last link of your comment, but it bears repeating: Transformer di Roboter's cover version of Michael Jackson's "Stranger in Moscow" uses the Mac startup sound in the background.

Also, I can't go without mentioning Benny Benassi's "Satisfaction" (look on iTunes), which was recently used in a Wendy's hamburger commercial. No startup chimes or system beeps, but I'd recognize MacinTalk's 'Fred' and 'Victoria' voices anywhere...
