Software updates never show up on my computer _. I'll have to wait till tomorrow or when the direct download is out.

You probably know this already, but in case you don't: you may need to enable update checking. Go to Apple menu -> System Preferences -> Software Update and make sure "Check for updates" is checked. You can also check any time either from that same preference pane, or from Apple menu -> Software Update.
Best,
Mark

After installing this update, I had to reconfigure my iChat. When I launched iChat, it brought me to the setup screen. I wonder if this update enhanced iChat's security capabilities.

Is anybody else experiencing the same problem with Saft as Gerard is after this update? If so I'll hang on for a new Saft version, the developer is usually pretty quick of the mark with these things...

Installed this last night, and today my powerbook cannot find my internet connection - Im using a DLINK router... I fear the security update has blocked this somehow - Ideally i'd de-install the update, but is this what i should do/is this possible!??
any thoughts... similar problems?

#4 and I have similar problems, iChat is screwed ! I can't multi-video chat anymore... I've deleted all the .plist files for iChat and still no luck. Anyone else having this problem or know how to fix mine ?
Thanks in advance.

I installed 'Security Update 2005-009' last night, and after rebooting my Mac as requested, my Apache TOMCAT installation no longer works properly!!
Although the server still handles JSP pages okay, it no longer allows the servlets to run.
I am also using Apache Apache AXIS within Apache TOMCAT, and this is also suffering the same problems. When creating a simple webservice within Apache AXIS, you just change the extension on your Java class file from .class to .jws and the server handles the rest, but now when requesting the webservice, Safari returns a page of text, which is the source from the Java file.
Also, the admin page within Apache AXIS is a servlet, and this no longer works either.
This was all working 100% before the security update was installed.
My setup for the web server is ...
Apache HTTP Server (Bundled with Mac OS X)
Apache TOMCAT (Bundled with Netbeans 4.1)
Apache AXIS 1.3
MacMini Mac OS X (10.4.3)
