Uncle Walt likes the new iMac G5's

I too am loving my iMac. The footprint is so tiny and the display is bright and vivid. It has most of the software I need out of the box. It is responsive (even with the stock 512 mb of memory) and powerful. The only complaint I have is that front row needs a little work, it has trouble connecting to the movie trailor service alot and the iTunes interface should contain all of the features of the iPod interface including random play. What a beautiful culmination of software and hardware!

Wow, switchers are coming in floods! Huzzah! In the past 6 months, since I switched, 3 others have switched with 2 more in a few days, and maybe another in a bit. Just in my department. Thats 6-7 iMac users in a pool of less than 15 people. I can't say I'm not disappointed about not having the updated iMac, but my 2.0 GHz 20" still flies, and it IS the only one with 2 GB of RAM and the only 20" in the group so far (the rest are 17's) Go Apple!
