PocketParty nano
I have no idea what the webpage says, but this iPod nano pocket speaker/dock called the Pocket Party nano looks freaking cool. One of these days I'm going to move to Japan just so I can get early access to the gadgets.

The Japanese site notes that total speaker output is 1W; that the device runs on a single AA battery (giving a max. 10 hours playback life); that it's available in both iPod Nano Black and i N White; that volume contol can be done through the iPod (unclear, but I think this is the upbeat way of saying there's no volume control on the thing itself); that it weighs a mere 38 grams [=1.34 oz]; and that it costs about $50. Cute enough not to need to be useful?

Damien: This is available in the UK from PodGear: http://www.podgearstore.com/ They ship to the U.S. for an extra charge. Even better, according to PodGear, they'll have a U.S. store up "in two weeks."
