iPhoto captions in iWeb?

OK members of the Mac Elite, I pose to you a question of Great Importance, the magnitude of which could determine the fate -- and maybe demise -- of the known universe. So answer wisely.

Using iPhoto's ol'-fashioned Web Export, you were given the option to include the photo's comments on the page, making it easy to narrate your photo journal/album/etc. However, that option doesn't seem to be available when exporting to iWeb: all that shows up is the image's name.

Is there a way to include the iPhoto comments when exporting/importing into iWeb? Or is this simply a shortsighted omission by Apple?

How about adding text in ComicLife then returning the file to iPhoto?

Sharing the photo from iPhoto to iWeb as a blog entry does bring the comment, however.

There may be no option to use the comments but it will use the title. Changing the title in iPhoto does not actually change the file name (DSCxxxx.jpg)

Nevermind, could be worse, whenever i try and publish from .mac or from iPhoto to a homepage, it locks up and freezes (probably my network) and says it has lost connection (its 128kbps ISDN guareenteed uplink so don't ask me!)

I'll stick my neck out and say that it is a shortsighted omission by Apple. You can't include comments on your iWeb blogs (unless you use a hack), you can't include em on your pictures either. Not to mention the fact that they omitted some documentation for the whole iLife suite.
