Rig of the Day: The desk of a switcher
What could be more satisfying than seeing a retired Windows laptop looking sadly on as an iMac proudly occupies its former space on the desk? Flickr user markjreeves77 depicts this scene with his snapshot. Are those Mardi Gras beads? After reading Database in Depth, I can see how a guy could want to cut loose a little bit.

Now that's just quite the coincidence. I'm having lunch with Mark on Thursday to talk about Refresh Boston (http://refreshboston.org). Now I know to look for a Mac user who carries a Sidekick II and can play the guitar (though I'm not sure that'll help me find him).

Well... it does my heart good to see this posted on TUAW. Welcome. I can only hope you've forgiven me for sticking that sacred rainbow colored Apple sticker on your car window back in '95?... '96? Damn. Took you awhile to come around.

I guess I should've put the iPod (pre-photo 20 GB) and Sony digital camera on the desk, and gotten the Creatures II, Epson All-in-One and the other iMac across the room in the shot too.
