Do you have any idea if Apple is planning to release an update for iWeb that would allow html editing?

http://username.mac.com?
&
custom 404 per username
The latter would leave the viewer inside the realm of homepage.mac.com/username or username.mac.com; rather then jumping to an Apple 404.
Alternately at least there should be a redirect along the lines of file does not exist, redirecting to homepage.mac.com/username.
If you switch to a different blogging app, ... and somebody has an old bookmark or a search engine indexed an old file; it is like your site no longer exists.
...and if you want a really short URL, use tinyurl.com or snipurl.com
good update!
ps. is there anyway to synch a local iweb file with a published iweb site?
