title: If Agent Mulder were a Mac geek. Sometimes it's necessary to break the wild speculation and rumor mongering with a bit of humor, and jyunderwood's poster does the trick. This is also a good opportunity to address what's inevitably going to happen tomorrow. Legions of Mac users are going to cry foul when the device of their dreams isn't announced. That's the problem with these rumors: They look so good, and we get so excited about "...how cool that would be" that we are disappointed when it doesn't happen. Well, it was a rumor in the first place, but we can lose sight of that in our fervor.
So, tomorrow, clear your minds, drink some herbal tea and forget about all that crazy stuff that's been swirling around your head for the past seven days. We're still getting some cool stuff.

I can just see you in your mother's basement snorting with laughter while pushing your taped together glasses up in between rounds of D & D at how "lame" other people are because you knew about a silly picture "11/12 hours" before a website. LOL - too funny ! it did make for a great weekend of intrigue and anticipation however. but no big woop if they dont announce a new true video ipod cause the Viliv P1 will hit the U.S. market ( in candy apple red :) soon enough ( in march i've read ) and frankly its looks to be really much better than all the faked video ipod pics anywayz - and the specs are impressive - with 6 hours of video off a single battery charge, http://www.goviliv.com/ - only thing that disturbs me is under its 4 inch screen on the black border it says "unlimited excitment" in white type- least in all the pics of it ive seen . what the hell is that all about , and what were they thinkin ? praise be for the fine-tip black Sharpie !!

Doh! Boy does my foot taste good. You're probably right. If so, I apologize to Mephistophelian, but I stand by the sentiment that people that bitch about things being "old news" is silly. I'm just a little fed up with it and exploded a bit.
