Lost, Desperate Housewives, Ghost Hunters season passes

The title says it all. You are now able to buy 'season passes' for Ghost Hunters ($15.99), Desperate Housewives ($34.99), and Lost ($34.99) on the iTunes Music Store.
If you aren't familiar with the iTunes Season passes, it works like this: for one price you get all the episodes of the current season that have already aired, and then iTunes automatically downloads the newest episodes the day after they air on TV.

A season is what, usually 22 episodes? So you would save about 10 bucks using a season pass over buying every show. If they do this with Battlestar Galactica next season (in fraking OCTOBER) , I would probably do it.
I would still like to see the quality go up to at least 640x480.

Well, I'm glad they don't have these on the Australia iTMS. I spend too much money as it is! :-P

I have a question that I can't seem to find the answer for anywhere else:
Now that there is a season pass for Lost, if I were to purchase it, would I get a discount because I have already purchased all of the previous episodes in this season, or would I have to pay the same price?

If I purchase a season pass or a Multi-pass, do I only get new episodes?
How does this pass handle re-runs?
For instance, if I purchased a multi-pass for "The Daily Show" and next week they show a week of re-runs, do those shows get downloaded?
I don't want to be charged for shows I have already seen, or are old.
Does anyone know the answer to this?

Steve Colbert of The Colbert Report has begun a pitch to put his downloads add up to $1M, with a graphic outline of himself partly full of cash to show where the sales are.
