MySQL and OS X, a happy couple

The Apple Developer Connection has just posted a nice article about MySQL (the famed open source database) and OS X, calling it an 'ideal development combination.' The article reveals that some of the developers at MySQL AB (that's the commercial company that makes MySQL) program in XCode, for a number of reasons. It also talks a little bit about the process of turning MySQL into a Universal Binary (it went well).

Purchased 3 Mac Mini's in the last couple of weeks, for myself and family, direct from Apple, and this has made me one happy programming bunny... Although i'm still lacking inspiration!

And if MySQL Administrator or Query Browser worked worth a damn this might be interesting. Can anyone out there explain to me why error -1 means "success", or why neither tool will show foreign keys on a table?

I'll tell you.... Justin's got the right idea. Since installing MySQL on my XServes I'm one THRILLED dude.

Add Minq's DbVisualizer and life is so awesome I can't see straight.

I've been using MySQL builds, both officially and back in the day from Marc Liyanage, and it's always been solid as hell for hosting large site backends, etc!

They mention near the end that they've built Universal versions of Query Browser and Administrator, but I can't find them on their site. Anyone have links?
