New PA and Cali Apple Stores: Your reports

Earlier today, Apple opened two new retail stores, one in Pennsylvania and one in sunny California. As usual, we asked any TUAW operatives who may have attended the openings to share their reports and/or pictures. So, did you make it out to the events this weekend? Let us know in the comments.

Here's hoping you scored a T-shirt.

I also attended the Grand Opening at Simi Valley...posted pictures on The Black Stripe for your enjoyment. And yes, I scored a t-shirt.

Attended the Suburban Square Grand Opening this morning. The line snaked out the door and around the building. Got a t-shirt, spied some bloggers, ogled the 15" MacBookPro and took some photos.

Always good to see a new store, but the Simi Valley, CA store had a pretty casual opening.

I was at the Simi Valley, CA opening today. I arrived about 30 minutes before the store opened, and was about 60th in a line of over 100. At 10am a large cheer was heard from the end of the line, and it turned out to be all of the store's employees walking from the back of the line to the front, high-fiving everyone along the way.

Kind of goofy, but hey, if you're waking up early to stand in line for a retail store opening just to get a t-shirt, you're probably more on the goofy side anyway.

I as well had an opportunity to check out the new Ardmore, Pa location and was very impressed. Having only been to the King of Prussia and London locations I was very impressed with its size and location. I'm a new mac user having only bought a macbook a few weeks ago and just wanted to drop a quick line of appreciation to the writers of this site. I check it out daily and its by far the best apple site I've come across. Scott if your reading this it was a pleasure meeting you today.

Yeah, I was there. Scored two shirts at the Suburban Square Store in PA (a friend and I). I was surprised to see the Studio featured so prominently at the back end of the store. It's nice that we have two Apple stores catering to the Philadelphia area now; King of Prussia was always really crowded - a little like how the opening was today.
