Today, the Discovery Channel has added a slew of shows to the iTunes Music Store, including the great Mythbusters [iTunes link], plus shows from Discovery Health [iTunes link], Discovery Kids [iTunes link] and The Travel Channel [iTunes link]. I'm glad about it, as most of the shows I watch are on cable.Reply in the Mail.app with a specific quote.

YES! This is awesome! This news made me happier then the macbook announcement today. I've been saying for months iTMS needs Mythbusters! i'm going to be so poor now...

ALL of my favorite shows are on iTunes now. With the exception of the [adult swim] lineup.

It is starting to become more cost effective to just buy the shows I want on iTunes than pay my outrageous cable bill..

Alright! Every single show I enjoy watching is now on iTunes. Now it's time to contemplate canceling my subscription to my cable provider.

I'm not sure if you guys have gone over this yet, but does anyone know if iTunes TV shows will ever be availible in Canada? Thanks for any information.

I LOVE MYTHBUSTERS! It's my favorite show on earth. Especially since they use Macs :)
