WebnoteHappy 1.0
I wrote about WebnoteHappy Lite way back in February, and now I see that WebnoteHappy 1.0 has just been released. This shareware application redefines bookmark management by making it browser independent. It also allows you to group bookmarks, search them, and tag them. It also boasts del.icio.us ingetration (that's everyone's favorite social bookmarking service). There is a 30 day demo, and the full license will cost you $24.95. WebnoteHappy is a Universal app that requires OS X 10.4.

I've been using WebnoteHappy Lite as a temporary repository for URLs I want to revisit later instead of cluttering the Desktop (and other places) with .webloc files. Often comes in handy that way when I want to restart Safari for some reason.
I'd definitely make use of certain WH (non-Lite) features but can't justify paying $25; $15 (max) would have made it more tempting to purchase. Maybe it can "compete" with bookmark managers like URL Manager Pro ($25) at that price but my budget is more in the Bookit range ($12) right now.
WH may well be worth $25 but I'll bet it'll be a sticker shock formany people, especially as the first shareware app from a developer with little "mainstream" reputation (e.g. there are no comments/reviews for WHL after a few months on MacUpdate/VersionTracker and blog comments are minimal). It's nice to support small independent Mac developers but forking over $25 to someone who's relatively unknown seems kind of risky.
