Dave Thorup has taken some more pictures of Apple's new store on Fifth avenue, but this time he took some more equipment with him and headed down at night. Check out the full set on Flickr.

you know what I don't get? It's just a STORE, ain't it? And enventhough it's in a prime location it doesn't even offer all there is, like any Photography or Video equipment on display.

I took some photos yesterday. There are people who seriously camped out all night (in a rainstorm) just to be the first in. Now that's crazy!!! It may look cool on the outside, but the inside is still just a store, though they did the free pin for camping out...sweet! My pics are at www.jculbertson.com/blog.

Elevator. The core of the circular staircase is an elevator.

The new store looks like the Mac Power Cube. Hope it doesn't bomb too.
And speaking of bombs, I wonder why they built it below ground? Are they worried about terrorists??

I was one of the crazy people who camped out all night. It was awesome. And I got to talk to Steve Jobs and shack his hand. Incredible!
