Macworld releases iPod/iTunes "Superguide"
There's no doubt that the folks at Macworld and Playlist Mag (like Chris Breen,* Dan Frakes, etc.) have written some great articles on the iPod and iTunes. Wouldn't it be nice to have them all in one convenient location? To that end, Macworld has released the iPod and iTunes Superguide. It's an 88-page collection of the best of their best articles on getting the most out of your iPod and iTunes, plus troubleshooting, accessory information and a whole lot more. You can order your copy as either a download-able PDF ($12.95US), an actual, honest-to-goodness, color book ($24.99US) or as a CD ROM ($15US). It sounds like a great reference for the iPod-toting geek in your life (or even yourself). Check it out.
*I didn't meet Chris Breen once. It's sort of a long story.

Jason:
Macworld has been doing "Superguides" and "Power Guides" for years in various incarnations; this is just the latest topic. And although the iPod/iTunes Superguide isn't free, it's *ad*-free, so those 88 pages are pure content -- from some of the best Mac/iPod writers around. (I say that without including myself :-) ) Finally, for those who prefer to read hard copy, the print version is of impressive quality.
That's not to say there aren't other good sources of information out there; just wanted to address your comments.

I assume you ran into one of my cadre of Breen impersonators. Like their Elvisine brothers, they're cropping up everywhere....
I haven't read this one yet, but seems to me like the concept is a ripoff of iLounge's outstanding biannual guides. And better yet, they're free. New one is coming out next month.

I recently read an article about how Mac Magazine subscriptions are down and mentioned Macworld along with another.
Maybe Macworld should examine what they're printing.
An iPod "Superguide"?
Why?
It's a freek'n iPod. A Rhesus Monkey with a steel plate in it's head could figure out an iPod! I love mine as much as anyone but nobody needs a "Superguide" and if you do you shouldn't be allowed to breed let alone own electronic equipment.
