Remix a whale song, win an iPod
If you're a whaler, you won't like this story. The International Fund for Animal Welfare is running a remixing contest as part of its campaign against whaling. The idea is simple: you download some tracks featuring some whale songs (did you know that whales sing to one another? It is true) and remix them with some kickin' jams of your own. Enter it into the contest and you could win a brand new 60 gig iPod, a Nano, or a Shuffle.Since we all know that the whale song is the only thing that will save our planet from being destroyed by an ancient space probe, it seems only right that we stop whaling and give everyone an iPod.

Great post, but it seems that the workload is taking its toll. With this one the decline is showing or maybe I'm biased since I'm from Norway which everyone knows is a land full of bloodthirsty whalers and we don't want to listen to whale songs but too AC/DC on our ipods when we go hunting. Ps. If you see C.K. tell him to pull it together and start posting :-)

On the subject, last time I was in Japan I ate some whale. It was pretty tasty, but it definately wasn't worth killing a whale over.
+5 for Star Trek IV reference!
