Headdress
Headdress is a nifty little application that makes turning on and off PHP very easy, but that's not all. It also takes care of modifying the Apache config files, so your little old Mac can serve up a number of websites (locally) without you having to worry about nesting files or anything like that.Headdress will setup 2 sites before you have to register for $14.95.

Hey guys - MAMP is great! Headdress is not a replacement for MAMP. The next point release of Headdress will work with MAMP, as an easy way to configure multiple websites (virtualhosts) - which is really the point of Headdress.
"Turning it (php) on can be a bit overwhelming for some"
Hehe, removing a # can be very tricky yeah...
is there one like this for JSP?
and thanks for the other link, DVDLV
http://www.mamp.info/en/home/ is free, more powerfull, universal binary, contains mysql, apache, mysql. php (v4&5), virtual hosting, and some other features.
