Apple posts pics of Macbook winners

Oleg slipped in the line behind me. The world is so unfair. I've waited for 2 1/2 hours, Oleg waited 1/2 hour. Who got the IBook?

Oleg looks like he's still upset because they called him "Olga" a few times. For a MacBook, they could call me Olga as long as they wanted.

FAKE... I call fake. The diversity in those winners is way too unrealistic. Its like a damn episode of Captain Planet. Of course, that's New York I guess. Still, there must have been a bouncer at the door, and the contest was rigged. Looks like if you are mexican you can still win.

umijin - It's a slow news week, and the NYC flagship store is probably the biggest news in the Apple retail experiment in the last year or so, so that's why you're hearing all about it. On a related note, I wonder how much Apple news I think is relevant, simply because I live in California.

I think most of us are just sick of hearing about this New York store period. I mean, if you live out side of the city or even the state - WHO CARES?

Is it just me, or do these people look like freshly styled? These look nothing like the bunches of picts I find on Macs in the Apple Store from PhotoBooth - lol.

What happened to Leonardo Decaprio?

They were giving away the white mid-level MacBook.

As to why they only have 8 pictures up there...you did not need to be present to win. They will notify the winner if not present within 10 days. I'm sure they will post more as more people come to pick up their prize.
