Earlier today, Apple opened a new retail store in Freehold, New Jersey. As usual, we asked any TUAW operatives who may have attended the openings to share their reports and/or pictures. So, did you make it out this weekend? Let us know in the comments.

Here's hoping you scored a T-shirt.

This was my first store opening. It was fun to be out there with fellow mac geeks. I got a apple hifi and have been using it all weekend. It sounds great. That's me in the pink floyd tshirt. Great to have an apple store in a mall close to home.

Was there, got a t-shirt. It's soft and cozy. :) I got there about 10:35am, and there was a line of maybe 150 or so. It was a good experience.

I got 3 shirts! Whoever was there probably saw me, I was in a black sweatshirt. 6th in line, was a great event. Got a 15" MacBook Pro, and on it right now. Hope everyone that was there had a good time. I got there about 7:30, and there were about 4 people there. After 9, many people were in-line.

I saw Joe, and Matt.

I got there early as well, 7:00 AM. Brought my camera along. My dad and I stood in line for 3 hours til the store opened. #3 and #4 on line.
Most of the members in line were interviewed on Darrin Dishong's Drive Home podcast as well.
Click the link on my name for a few pictures I got. I also have a video of entering the store to the alleyway of high-fives by the employees but have yet to upload it.

I got there at about 9. I must have been right around where Mark was. It's as he said, lots of people, clapping and cheering from the staff, etc...

The store itself is set up exactly as the store in Paramus, NJ (which opened recently). I imagine all the recent stores (excluding NYC) are set up this way.

Picked up a bag (STM shoulder bag) for my new MacBook and a firewire cable.

This was my first Apple store opening. I'm glad I went - the T-shirt will be worn proudly :)

I was there around 12:30ish, and was able to walk right in. It looked like an apple store: no notable differences or happenings as far as I could tell. I also didn't bring my camera.

I arrived at the Freehold Raceway Mall around 7:00am. I bought Mac OS X 10.4.6 so I'll be upgrading from 10.3.9 Click on the link to see my PHOTO GALLERY of the Apple Store opening.

Hey, got there at about 9 and was maybe around the 100th person in line, by 10 there were well over 1,000 people in line, I stayed in the store for about 30 minutes, (we purchased a MacBook, yay!) and when I left the store there were still about 1,000 people waiting to come in. The employees lined up inside the store clapping/cheering/high-fiving the first bunch as they came in. I, sadly, did not bring my camera but many others did (let's just hope they are TUAW readers.)
