Guy Kawasaki gets sneak peek of iWoz
Guy Kawasaki, former Apple evangelist, has read Steve Wozniak's memoirs and he liked what he read. He was posted the top ten things that he learned from iWoz to give us a taste of what is in the book. Guy learned that Woz is, and always has been, an Apple employee. Woz taught computer classes in an elementary school, and that he lost $12 million on each of his US Festivals.I know I'll be getting this book as soon as it is available for lowly bloggers like myself.

I knew Woz had a book coming out, but I didn't know it was called "iWoz."
Isn't the name a bit presumptuous? Correct me if I'm wrong, but Woz had nothing to do with the "i___" craze.
The naming convention started with the iMac in 1997/98, which was a shortening of "internet Macintosh." The next use, I believe, was the joke term "iCEO" to refer to Steve Jobs' still interim nature as CEO, and also because of his intimate involvement in getting this product out which ultimately saved Apple from oblivion.
After the iMac's success, the lower case "i" product prefix started to be used with a vengeance.
But for Steve Wozniak to combine it with his name strikes a bad chord with me. It wasn't his era. Something like "Woz ][" would have been more appropriate, albeit more cryptic. "Woz" by itself would have been fine.
Before I lose any of my great respect for Woz though, it's highly possible that his publisher chose the name, intending to reference a book like "iCON." Apparently, Andy Hertzfield didn't want to call his book "Revolution in the Valley" either - it was the publisher's choice.
Can't wait for the release..I wonder why Steve Jobs never wrote a book? and speaking of his Steveness why on earth he didn't join the D4? Three years in a row and make him boring already?
