iClip is Free Today

MacZot is offering Inventive's iClip as a free download today. It's version 3.7 and isn't a universal binary but version 4.0 is about to ship and the company has long offered free upgrades, so grab it now and watch for version 4.0 to ship. I'm not personally a user of multiple clipboards, but I suppose it couldn't hurt to give this a whirl. Who doesn't like free stuff.

Thanks Jonathan for the tip.

I am using iSnip, which works great and is free. The only problem is that you can't copy images with iSnip. I'll give iClip a try and see if its worth it.

I have used Jumpcut (http://jumpcut.sourceforge.net/) for a while now. It's free and very useful. How does iClip differ and is it superior?

Is that suprising?
(Honestly, with the new version coming up this is an obvious attempt to get people to use iClip 3 and then buy a license of iClip 4 to get the new features. I don't think that's bad at all but it's a bit naive to think they would give away the old _and_ the new upcomming version away for free...)

It was already discussed on the MacZot site, but you cannot get a free upgrade to version 4 with this free version. The free version is a special build that doesn't require registration.
