Menufela
Menufela is a little application from ninja kitten (who have the coolest name yet for an indie software developer). What does Menufela do? It hides the top menubar (and the Dock). Why? Because every pixel counts, or something. It can also be used to hide the Spotlight icon (if you are attached to your menubar but can't stand that smug magnifying glass judging you all day).
Menufela costs $5 and it needs Application Enhancer installed to function, which might be a deal breaker for some.

It's not free. It costs US$ 5. (Well worth it, BTW.)

I don't understand this app. Is it really worth it to get a few measly pixels of extra screen space? I saw people going crazy over it on macthemes.net but I just can't understand the attraction?
Is 20 extra pixels screen real estate that important? Given it's simple use, is it really worth paying for? I doubt I would get it even if it were free...

What are the problems with App Enhancers, besides what is said on the App Enhancer website? And why would that be a dealbreaker?

i saw this a while ago and decided to give it a try, i personally found the hiding menu bar to be quite annoying and hard to uninstall

This is shareware gone awry. $5 for software that uses someone else's toolkit to remove the menu and dock? Please. I'm willing to pay for valuable software, but this should be free. The cost doesn't lend respect to the developer.
