iCalFix: automatically add reminders to iCal events

We've blogged iCalFix before, back when it was just a fledgling 0.1 release that didn't even have a GUI interface (you had to edit a pref file lying around in ~/Library). For those who don't remember: it's a simple iCal plugin that automatically adds a reminder to every event you create.
In this latest 0.5 release, iCal has become a true-blue iCal plugin, with its own preference pane and everything (As you can see, Robert Blum, iCalFix's creator, is looking for an icon designer. Check his blog for contact details). Now it's possible to specify your own alarm time for new events, as well as which sound to use, right from within iCal's preferences.
iCalFix is donationware and available from Robert Blum's site.

iCalFix 0.5 iCal[Broke] my iCal. Actually, it just gave it the spining beach ball treatment (PowerBook G4, 10.4.7, 1.5GHz, 1.25 SDRAM). iCalFix 0.3 works fine.

This isn't like that "other" iCal app, is it?

#2: No, it isn't. That's why I began the post with "hey we blogged this before" and cited Hawk Wings for the update. I've personally been using this since the 0.1 release last year and absolutely love it.

If TUAW thinks I'm going to install another iCal "tip" after the last cock up from this blogger, then think again

Hi Kevin!
I'm the guy responsible for iCalFix - and I'd really like to find out what's causing the problem for you. If you could mail me at rob.blum@gmail.com, I'd appreciate that. Thanks!

Guys, my apologies yet again for the original mixup, but you might want to take the same advise I personally had to learn, and read the entire post before you say anything.
I mentioned we blogged this app back in November when it was originally released as a 0.1. It's also been written about a few times since then by Hawk Wings, which is why I also linked them in this post. The app is perfectly safe, and it's been around for over half a year.

Why the assumption that people aren't reading your whole post because they don't want to use your tip? That's just ego and arrogance on your part.
I read the whole of your procastinatr post, and read the whole of this one. I have made the decision to disregard any of your advice based on previous experience - repeating what you've already written in the comments is neither useful, and borders on patronising.
The facts are simply 1) You screwed up, 2) You have apologised, 3) I no longer trust the content of your posts. End of.

Oh good GOD! Let it GO! The man made a mistake! He apologised! It is OVER!
Chris, enjoy life not trusting ANYONE ever again - everyone in the world has made at least one mistake, so you're better off ignoring everything they say. Including me. And yourself.

Hey Jimbo, calm down, no need to shout. Just as there was no need for DC to respond to my original comment with the arrogant assumption that I hadn't fully read his post.
However, its fair to say you certainly didn't read my comment fully before your knee-jerk reaction. If you had you would have seen that I say I don't trust the content of this posts, not him as a person - I don't even know the guy.
As you see fit to tell me how to live my life, let me offer you a word of advice in return - when you write a comment, count to ten first, and then read it back afterwards. That way there is less chance of making it look as though you can't follow a basic sequence of events.
