Overview of Mac security

Security, it is one of OS X's key features. For all my whining about Mac users not appreciating security OS X is darned secure right out of the box. Switch to a Mac has a nice overview of the default security settings of OS X plus some recommendations for keeping your Mac even more secure.

One thing they don't mention are Updates. Remember, kids, keep your software up to date.

Thanks, Manjeet.

Daniel,

Your guide is more technical than the average consumer can understand, especially people who have or plan on switching from Windows.

The Switch To A Mac site article is a great overview. It's sad that you feel the need to promote your document over the nice article that TUAW linked to.

Take Care
