iScorch to the rescue

iScorchI lost my lighter to airport security the other day. So I was resigned to being unprepared for the inevitable flame tribute to the bands at the Lyons Folks Festival tonight. That is, until I came across this post at Cult of Mac about the iScorch. I'll just hold up my iPod Video and let this video be my torch. There's also an iScorch for the Nano and the iPod Photo.

In case anyone was curious how to set to loop this video, as it's only 6 seconds long? Settings>>Repeat(one) Job done.

There's no motion sensor in the iPod.

Very cool! I wonder if the iPod has a motion sensor built in, anyone knows? If so, could it be possible to have some iPod program (not just a video file) that would have the flame move to the right or to the left depending on which direction you move your iPod. That would be even cooler!
