Found Footage: 2 New Get a Mac ads air on Canadian TV

TUAWer Connor let us know that he was able to upload two Get a Mac commercials that are airing in Canada (though not in the US, as of yet). The ad pictured to the right features the Mac talking about getting some work done, while Counseling depicts the PC and the Mac trying to see eye to eye with the help of a counselor (it doesn't go well).
Thanks, Connor.

I've always found the ad quite ironic. I use my mac for work stuff and my PC for fun. Despite only being 800mhz, my mac still does everything I need for the work that i do, and I intend to keep it around until it breaks. Whereas to keep up with games, my PC needs to be upgraded every 2 years minimum.
Which I guess is why the "Just let me lie here and depreciate" line from the PC struck a cord with me.

I love how Mac and PC come off as a bickering married gay couple, especially in the counseling ad.

Funny!
I have not been a big fan of the Get a Mac ad series, but the Counseling one is just perfect.

The reaction and "Oh boy, oh, I knew this day would come" make that line all the better.

I think Apple's catching enough flak for the way they're doing things now, a full-on attack on Windows would probably end up backfiring something ferocious. I'm perfectly happy with the not-as-subtle-as-some-would-like jabs of superiority. :)
That being said, "What's with the big boy clothes?" is the best line to come out of these commercials yet.
Classic.
The Apple ads tend to spare the barbs at Windows in order to go for a more low-key sense of superiority. Just once though, I'd like Apple to throw prudence out the Window and do a real political style attack ad campaign against Windows. Break it down and show the world just how sad of an OS Windows really is. Instead we get 'Were good for our own respective things! We should be friends.'
Bah. :)
There is actually another one airing in Canada I just saw. Mac makes a greeting card and has it walk on the screen (Giselle Bunchen) and then PC won't show his card to Mac. Finally Mac convinces him to bring it out and its a really ugly woman dressed in a viking outfit! By far the best one yet! Don't know why no one else in Canada has reported this one yet.

I wonder if thge release of these adverts has anything to do with Canadian market share.
